About Us

Hello everybody our names are Deb and Phil and together with our two children, we are passionate about ferrets!

We had our first ferret twelve years ago and haven't looked back since. Her name was Taz and she lived to be twelve but sadly passed away in January 2007.

Whilst keeping ferrets, we realised that we could do more to help stray and unwanted ferrets, so South Staffs Ferret Rescue was born. That was seven years ago, and in that time we have successfully rehomed hundreds and hundreds of ferrets.

We have grown to be a large ferret rescue and are dedicated to helping ferrets find the right owners to give them a much needed second chance.

Also keeping us on our feet are our two dogs, one rabbit, a parrot and a hamster. Feeding time can be a lengthy process!

Ferrets have been given undeserved bad press over the years, so our aim is to show people that they are extremely intelligent, funny, loving and 'YES' cute! and that they make exceptional pets.
